Over the WebA Poem by Glorwen HelyanweA short story about one of my best friends, who I met online.
Hey
That's usually how they start Our conversations Which can last for hours on end Through text and Skype Which are our only means But we don't mind And we have fun anyway I've cried on your virtual shoulder And you've cried on mine And we've shared many heartfelt talks Sharing things that only best friends know I hope to meet you in person At least before too long So that we can go places Make memories So that we can go to Comic Con And loiter at the mall together Talking loudly in the cinema And eating junk food as we play Xbox You one of the best friends That I've ever had And I've never even met you in person And that's saying something.
