Where we run

Where we run

A Poem by Eleon

I am running

I am running

The tundra beneath my paws

Around me

The desolate

Wilderness

We're we fight to survive

We're we are

Completely

Alone

Veins bursting with sultry blood

And whipped passion

To be able to run

A little bit more

Just one intake of breath

More

To feel the lungs expanding with

the cold metallic air

Just one

More inhale

The shadow hawks are circling

In the sky

drawing dusty chalk patterns

In their trail

My body heavy and physical

And panting

down here

And they

Free

Aerials with claws

Liquid colours flashes against the sky

Like ink splashed on my retina

Is all I see

As I run

I run

And here I met you

Explosion forced to be contained
