_{Yet it kept building}

_{Until it was all released}

_{By you –}

_{With a single kiss}

_{In a place}

_{With a million faces}

_{Then I became aware}

_{Of you}

_{Of myself}

_{Of us}

_{I wanted to tell you then}

 

_{But I said nothing}

_{Why ruin a friendship}

_{Because of a crush?}

_{So I stayed silent}

_{Until you again}

_{Made me aware}

_{With a poem like this}

_{Finally –}

_{I spoke}

_{Then I waited}

_{Waited for you to respond}

_{And you did}

 

_{Then we were}

_Together

_Yet

_{I found myself with unnecessary feelings –}

_Until

_{Our weekend together}

_{When we were cuddling}

_{And I realized}

i like the way the story built up and how you managed to show the uncertainty in the character and how in the end he just stopped questioning and just went along with it and got his happily ever after. it is very simple and precise and light, just the way poems about love are meant to be. great job!
