Equinox

This is one of my songs that I have written. It's for a concept album that I hope to put music to soon :)

Sometimes,

Late in the evening,
A fantasy veils this reality,
And the fantasy is beautiful.
I dreamt to feel your skin,
Listened for your serenade upon the wind.
The night brings with it a melody,
The moon's gentle song.

Winter will always bring
A vibrant spring,
A time of rebirth.
Please, 
Show me your smile,
Lead me wherever your happiness lies.
As long as serenity remains,
The seasons will always change.

Sometimes,
A somber whisper
Carries itself along the river's edge.
The water drapes over my skin,
As I lay asleep in the sand.
I hear your voice calling me back to winter.
But while the snow is tempting,
I prefer the calming rain
The equinox will bring.

Winter will always bring
A vibrant spring,
A time of rebirth.
Please, 
Show me your love.
Lead me wherever your passion lies.
As long as serenity remains,
My soul will forever reach for grace.

I can see,
Even though the sunlight is waning.
I find that even in the dark
Our eyes will adjust
To search for another day.
All is not lost,
This is not the end.
Reach for my heart,
Our brotherhood will triumph,
And only our serenity will remain.
The journey of a thousand miles
Begins with but a single step.

Winter will always bring
A vibrant spring,
A time of rebirth.
Please,

Show me your love.
Lead me wherever your happiness lies.
As long as brotherhood remains,
The equinox will bring peace.

I find that even in the dark,
Our eyes will adjust
To search for another day.
