Great Realization

Great Realization

A Poem by Chelsea Marie

Of the beauty and grace of the Earth,
We are tyrant in nature.
Falling with every step
And ever so slightly faster.
A seed is a child,
And an ocean wave can be legendary literature
To the man with the highest motivation
And the greatest obsession to learn.
One will grow from the earth under tired feet
To live through a hell that knows no boundaries
While the world can break withered hands,
And send one crawling on their knees.
Living the day through the eyes of yourself
Is the risk everyone with a heartbeat takes,
Whether you hate how you are designed,
Or where the undertow is taking you
Surely the sun can shine against your skin.
When you realize that you are glory,
Your wings can spread against the sky
To block out every inch of hate
And every sadistic lie.
