Once in a Blue Moon

Once in a Blue Moon

A Poem by Chelsea Marie

Once,

I could have felt a ting of beauty between us.

Something no others could’ve felt,

Because we had it all.

No arguments,

No pain, only smiles.

Time did not exist,

And even if the world fell away,

I would still feel your hand within mine.

You never would’ve let me ago,

Never would have lied,

Never would’ve imagined a universe without me.

But now, you’re running.

Running away anywhere that you can find,

Anywhere you can hide.

What have I done to deserve the cold side of your eyes?

To deserve this much pain from you?

You’re tearing me apart,

Killing me each second with the tip of your blade.

I was thought you were a soldier,

Fighting to keep the innocent alive.

But now,

You’re a rogue,

Killing me,

The one you once kept you alive.

What have I done to deserve the cold side of your heart?

To deserve having you ripped clean away from me?

Why, my love, are you so cold?

Very sad to know that you are betrayed.
Well penned.

How does it feel when some things were yours once and now they are no more there. Beautifully explained.

Icy cold, but beautifully written. Sometimes things happen and people give you the cold shoulder without a reason why and its not right. Its messed up. Anyway, this is a lovely write.
