The RevelationA Poem by Chelsea MarieThis is a song I just finished. If you know what progressive metal is, just think of it with that kind of music. I hope you guys like it! Thank you!The Revelation (verse 1) Pull me into the light, Lay me under the water. As I struggle, bring me to the surface And delude me. Now I can’t wake, You took me away... (chorus 1) I am the angel behind your misery, Why won’t you come to me? Is there a morning after we meet? Some kind of heaven to set me free? I am the arrow guiding your destiny, When the stars fall through your eyes, Maybe you’ll regret your atrocities tonight (verse 2) It has been years, And you are still alone Shaking your hands, losing your mind, And pleading for a reason Why did you kill me? It’s your price to pay... (chorus 2) I am the angel behind your agony, Close your eyes and let me breath. Is there a morning after we meet? Some kind of heaven to set me free? I am the arrow behind your destiny, I swear that I saw you in my dreams, I thought that we’d be happy. (bridge) I believed in you, And I’ll never forgive you, I was basking in the light, And you enveloped me in darkness. Demons are never satisfied, Angels never die. So let me ask you, Are you satisfied? Crying on your knees? (chorus 3) I am the guilt behind your misery, I closed my eyes, you wouldn’t let me breath. Will you be mourning while you weep, While I’m in heaven, being set free? I am the angel behind your insanity, I know you’ll see me in your dreams, I’ll make you regret your atrocities tonight. (outro) Demons are never satisfied, Angels never die. Are you content now? © 2012 Chelsea MarieAuthor's Note
