The Battle of 体A Poem by Chelsea MarieJust incase anyone was wondering, the character in the title is "karada", or the japanese word for "body".If beauty walked in sheets of humility, If demons fashioned clothes of human skin. There are flaws, a lack of stability. We would walk in shadows of black storms, thin. Call out to spirits of thy keen nature, Whisper to a wind that strains to listen. Take my hand, evolve this new composure. Hear this well, these songs that strive to glisten. What we cannot grasp, what we cannot know Holds us in silver, binds our hearts in fear. And the metal that burns the skin, the eyes close. Tyrants of false hope bring false kindness near. The lies of a fantasy drown well-being. Moving and feeling, but without seeing. © 2012 Chelsea MarieAuthor's Note
