Chapter 1

Standing in the center of a small, almost empty room, the girl looked down at the ancient floorboards.

They were smooth, worn down after nearly a hundred years of bare feet, just like her's walking around in that room.

The pale floorboards touched the walls, which were covered in an ancient wallpaper, which was peeling in the corners of the room. One wall was sun bleached from years of dusks and dawns.

  

  The young girl's eyes closed, and she took a deep breath in.

She let out a scream. A long and high scream. She dragged her foot on the dusty floor around in circles, and danced around.
