Long libraryA Poem by Ellie Qtz
The long library
Is filled with no light It's just empty not a single book in sight It's so depressing just standing here waiting for nothing nothing to appear In a way the library is me empty waiting to be filled Waiting for nothing Just waiting to be killed Something is different I notice suddenly Someone waiting waiting just like me I take a book and walk over and begin to fill their shelves and they begin to do the same we have a reason to be ourselves We begin to fill the library with all these new books each one a memory All happy from the looks Suddenly new people smiling oh so very bright tell us to be strong telling us to keep the fight I have a long library And all of it's shelves are filled me and my new partner we are both so very thrilled
