Festival FamilyA Poem by Electric ScribeThey come in
all shapes and sizes, From new dimensions
or right down the road, Some are scholars,
off the radar, business folk, soldiers, or just are, They are the
here and now…. Woven together
by strings of PLUR, hemp, LED, and Neon, Bedazzled
with glitter and if I’m not mistaken a Unicorn horn, Dancing the dance,
whichever ones they know, Not judgmental,
well except for the bro’s The goofier
you are the more widely your accepted, By this
family of oddballs whom cherish the unaccepted, A tradition
has formed from venue to venue, ELE, so arms
wide open its time for a squeeze, No scale in
the cosmos can measure this love, It’s sealed
with a stellar light show from them awesome gloves, Tears fill
my eyes after every reunion, No room in default
land for the raver communion, Each night I
have a dream where we dance and play, Raging hard
all night and all day, The love in
your eyes and the smiles you share, Are all I need
in life I swear, So thanks
for accepting me in this family of yours, The family
of good vibes, PLUR, dance, and hugs, Go you your
awesome even without any drugs, NAMASTE we
shout and release the doves, I gotta find
KARL! Peace out and much Love. © 2013 Electric Scribe |
