Soaring

Soaring

A Poem by Electric Scribe

Pastel scenery floats above the horizon and gracefully tucks in the moon

The sun manifests into the sky, the light calls to all manner of life

Song birds are the first to echo the joy of a new day,

Taking the leap, gliding through the branches, entranced by fire lit sky,

Routine formations identify the nonchalant behavior as this marvel is preformed daily,

Leaving the safety of their homes, with music in their heart, to share their love with a song,

It is in these moments I have learned to envy them,

Never knowing technology, communities formed solely on instinct, rather than control,

Always above the world, living beyond the barriers, soring between the clouds & the heavens,

You can hear it…. Hear it in the song they sing…. Freedom….freedom….

Oh what a feeling it must be, to spread your wings and let the wind carry you while gravity pins everything else to the ground, soar….soar….soar! Over the rivers and streams the sun glistening and revealing a spectrum of color.

A life the boarders on the unreal, purity of the soul, no anger, no hate, only love, only the song….. Freedom…..Freedom!

The fire has returned to the sky, this time the moon shall tuck in the sun,

They return to formation, taking in the last of the suns warmth, rejoicing in the beauty of life, the song is sung one final time……. The lullaby spreads love to the entire world as the moon owns the sky, all there is now is peace………
