The SearchA Story by EleanaNouvelleBack in the 80's (being 56 today), I was at the cross roads on my spiritual beliefs. Coming out of a divorce and no children and age 30, I became a sponge in searching my spiritual beliefs...not adopting the beliefs of my family...my beliefs...and not beOnly until we allow ourselves as human beings to travel within our body and mind to search, seek out, and ultimately feel our spirit and soul, can we begin to understand our purpose on Earth and in our life time.
Over the last eon years, human civilization has been entering a new world of spirituality. Traditional religious beliefs are becoming more individualized and transforming into a deeper relationship with one's spirit and soul.
The Search for the truth of our human existence and purpose on this Earth has already begun as people are starting to go within for peace and an "one-on-one" relationship with the creator of their understanding whether it is from the traditional religious beliefs of all over the world or the Darwinian Theory, and other beliefs.
Generally, we live day by day on the surface of our life...leaving our spiritual body and mind untouched...never to feel or even understand the message why are we here on this Earth...in this body, mind, and personality.
As humans today, are we missing the important lesson in life, to me that is, to live a life of inner happiness, joy, and peace that will bring to us mental and physical well-being.
There are people on this planet today who are discovering what their purpose is in life...not just to get up everyday, go to work, come home, and start the same routine over again and again. While this may seem impossible at first, these souls soon discover that by simply living in their new awareness they have naturally become teachers to the masses.
The key to finding your purpose in life is learning, discovering, being a teacher and student of each other. Most importantly, not fearing the unknown. People who allow themselves to search and live beyond the surface of everyday living will strive for peace and harmony for themselves and for others.
Some people are afraid to find happiness, afraid to see who they really are. They feel they have no purpose in life but to just exist. Perhaps, those individuals are hiding from a true desire to search within themselves, or are afraid of the unknown,
It is up to each human spirit and soul to find the divine right to live a responsible and harmonious life. We have been given a higher power to search, seek, nurture ourselves, and choice to fulfill our spirit and soul's destiny to find our higher inner self-consciousness.
My Journey:
On my personal journey over the last four years after the passing of my beloved spouse from lung cancer and being single again, I have found that downsizing, living simply, starting to live a sustainable life style, growning my own food, heating by firewood, and learning about the "slow food movement" , I feel free in my heart's spirit. I am in control of my life...no one else. My new wonderful partner of one year, we both share the vision in life. Giving up watching localTV was at first thing to get use too...I was being conditioned by the media. I now use my TV for movies that I watch, listen to NPR and local funded radio stations and read a lot more. Sleeping outdoors...smelling the morning and night's country fresh air...no need for an alarm clock...bird chirpings at 5:30 a.m. is now my alarm clock. I got out of the corporate treadmill. Life is good!
