Not SO strange

Not SO strange

A Poem by Eldridge Dulatas

There she was, a stranger
An anomaly, a rare sight
She glances, cautious
A familiar feeling resurfaced
Her eyes, captivating
Smile, breathtaking
Wait…
I remember
This feeling, i felt it before
She was never a stranger
I got caught staring again
Her hair, I’m tangled
Her lips, rendered me speechless
Wait…
Are you leaving?
Again, a familiar feeling
Her laugh, reassuring
Her voice, I fell in love
I was yours all along
Til we meet again, stranger
