Inspirational Rubbish

In all honesty I will not lie-
I cannot stop you from falling.
Any words of advice would be pointless,
And you probably know this.
My footholds would break,
My rope would snap,
And Cement glue really doesn’t hold,
Like it says on the wrapper.

In the end you’d just keep sliding…
Falling…
Flying.
And I would be empty handed and mulling.

But there is something-

I will not break.
I will not snap,
And damn it all I will hold out.

Furthermore I can assure
That if you continue to fall
I will be falling next to you.

This is quite interesting. A poem of dedication to commitment. I can only hope the upward climb begins when you land together, perhaps you catching your heart's desire, and beginning the climb together. Some nice visuals in this and strong statements. Nice work. ~Pamela

I really like this.
The part in this that really establishes the bond between the two of you is the last part:
"Furthermore I can assure
That if you continue to fall
I will be falling next to you."
It reminds me of the part in Titanic where he says "You jump, I jump."
