True Happiness

True Happiness

A Poem by Eldee

Dance, dance, and sing a song.
Twirl your flower ‘neath the yawn.
Whistle sweetly and stomp to beat
The warmth that fills the fiery heat.
The warmth that I call happiness-
It’s born of simple timeliness.

Bring to call those memories,
Of fishing, running, playing between,
The old big reds in Yosemite,
Listening as the old roots keened.

My father takes me by the hand,
And walks me to a place of sand.
My mother takes me by my wings,
And sends me flying where no one has been.

In daring do I soar and fly.
My freedom lies with the open sky.
As long as creativity bleeds my blood-
I’ll wear a smile, a simple tug.

For happiness, true happiness,
Is blessed by seed in righteousness.
So as I learn my lessons, creed-
I’ll spin and spin a world of glee.

It's very giddy and happy. I love the fact that it is that way. It also has me into to where I would not quit reading it.
