A tear fell

Once upon a time,

In a town surrounded by trees of pine,

I saw you there,

Leaning against a tree as you ate your pear.

My whole world stopped,

Beating of my heart all pumped.

At first sight I fell,

But then I saw your eyes well.

Heartbreak was what I saw in your eyes,

Oh, I wonder who told you lies.

So, I ran up to you,

Then confusion was all over you,

"Who are you?" you said.

"You don't know me" I answered.

"That's why I'm asking you." you replied.

From that on,  the conversation got longer.

Until the end of the day, the talk was finally over.

The next morning I woke up with high hopes,

Too happy I could tie my neck with a rope.

I wanted to go back to that tree where I met you,

To start another conversation with you.

But when I came,

I was ashamed.

I saw him kissing another,

The name of that girl, I wonder.

Yes. At first sight, I fell.

Yes. At second sight,  a tear fell.
