The day was wonderful

Everyone was gleeful

The sun shined so bright

It made the people feel so light

Children were playing

Teenagers were laughing

Adults were chatting

Elders were resting

The day was delightful

Everyone was mirthful

The clouds filled the sky

The wind coolly passing by

A couple sat on a cloth laid on the grass

Too close to each other, both could almost hear the bass

Playfully punched, would be the guy

Then giving him a grin that no one can buy

He would kiss the girl

Then lips would curl

Smiling foolishly at each other

Both was drowning in laughter

They wouldn't even think of doing it later

People around them didn't matter

Oh how sweet they were

Love was felt everywhere

The sun shined so bright

Before the darkness stole the light

Sigh, the day was almost perfect
