Love, O love. Depart thou!
Wasn't long since I lost hope in you.
Firdausi I seeketh, giveth me thou canst.
Love, O love. Depart thou!

She said love me she will not,
My hopes were, before, to come and tie knot,
with my Firdausi, the girl I longed to have,
Love, O love. Depart thou!

Hey! I am to blame because they said,
love is blind, why can't believe me?
wicked is another name they called you,
Love, O love. Depart thou!
