Tattered

A Poem by Final-Karma
"

Teaching those who find another way.

"

The Great Mother devours her children

She encompasses their souls

Giving them a place to call home

The Lost Son brings death to light

He humbles the weak

Showing them the truth of tomorrow

An amazing piece! Like the days we live, everything is apart of the great cycle of life. We all go through surges of emotions, and we even change forms throughout its course. Yet, in the end its all connected in one way or another. Thanks for writing this wonderful poem. keep writing and growing. :)

Like a lost lamb, returned to the herd! Religiouly uplifting, powerful and very dramatic.

Thank you so much! I always enjoy reading your reviews.
I really like that poem. I feel like you really are emotional about something in the poem a little but that is my opinion.

I really like this! It gives me kind of ominous vibes but also the feeling that some really powerful forces are in play, and that one should feel reverence towards them.

You're welcome! It was a pleasure to read
What a beautiful poem. I read it about four times to interpret the message for myself and it was extremely well-written. Bravo.

Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words to my work.
What I read in this poem is an original, artistic blending of Mother Nature, God, and the Devil. Perhaps a new trinity (not holy or unholy, just truth in nature). You certainly convey how we're merely specks of matter on earth, subject to the gifts and whims of nature. Perhaps off, but that's my take on this one.
