Her Epilogue

Her Epilogue

A Poem by Final-Karma
"

On this night, our dreams come true

"
Under the solemn moonlight

A shadow creeps over marble white
Staining it's traces
Claws reach from the depths
Figures stand with no faces

Her beauty protected

All she sees is golden

The wolves gather in mass
Witnesses to the end
Innocence killed in ornate style
Forever alive among the dead

She never breaks her smile

Lights hugging every curve

Caressed by it's cold embrace
The emissary of life
Leaving her hollow and in place

The circle tightens

Her dreams fade

Under sullen skies
This is her time of pleasures
Turned grim and dismay
As one, the voices sang

"Give unto your life for this cause

O, woe is thee
For what comes next is unseen

We invoke you this night

Our master of morning light"

The howl of winds so strong
Ascendence cut short
Overwhelmed in a sea of flames

She drowns in beautiful misery

Deprived of ugly remorse

Displays of elegance in torn form

Preserved

Her beauty amplified
Shared among the pack
Her innocence
Crimson red

Shrouded

Under this dreaded moonlight

When it comes to poetry I tend to be into nonsense verse and surrealism and this seems more like occult poetry with weird fiction overtones. But I really liked it the tone was wonderful, and sustained throughout the piece. while the language itself was engaging.

Thank you for reading and leaving a review!
Surreal and simply gorgeous. A beauty fated to last forever in darkness. However dark it may be, to me personally I see this as a self sacrifice to maintain something primal and free.

You interpreted this exactly right. It is that primal and sense of freedom that keeps us sane.
Such a captivating piece, I felt like this reminded of a movie I saw awhile back. Its like you perfectly meshed fantasy with reality. As a man, it made me visualize losing a woman I cherished because I couldn't arrive in time. I believe her beauty is sustained, well past her remains. Keep up the great work.

Thank you!
Whilst reading this I listened to Greensleeves which is said to be composed by Henry the 8th - that just made this so beautiful. I thought this was beautifully written, I loved the tone and the themes of life and death that you used. I don't know how you do it, but every poem or work that I read of yours is always so well written and a joy to read! I just wanted to let you know that I hope the read requests keep coming because I just love your style of writing and the themes that you pick - they are really up my street and I have enjoyed reading each and every one of your works. I can't tell you how stunning your descriptions are (I know, I know I always say this) but it is true, your descriptions are just always on point, and it makes your works so magical. Looking through this, I cannot find any faults. A very beautiful poem that really captured my interest and another one of your stunning works that I can assure you will be added to my favorites list. Thank you so much for sending me a read request for this, I am so glad that I got to read it as it is really very good. You should be proud of yourself, it is stunning. Thanks again!

Exquisitely beautiful despair. Dancing easily through the shadows till that sweet sweet suffering brings the high.

The words are beatiful and it invokes alot of wonderful and sometimes haunting images. What is it about however this time I am not sure.
I love the mystery of it. I feel like all the clues are there for me to put together but right now they are slipping through my mind. I will have to ponder this one.
