Pathetic

Being honest 

so much of me is you

without you here

I stand a little confused 

pathetic right?

I want to look down on this world

from on top of a hill

with a beautiful sense of melancholy 

who even am I without you?

what am I passed just us?

you've been a goal

a lover

and a brother 

this all feels pretty heavy

I cant help but try to distract myself with the night sky

maybe I'm being a little too blunt

I could give you a fancy metaphor, but why try?

I know he made you happy

and in an odd sense so am I

I could wish for harm on you

but that would be a lie

I just hope he takes care of you this time

yeah its sad

but thats not so bad

its just another chapter ending in our lives

While this is quite sad I can also feel your honesty. I love the line "I could give you a fancy metaphor, but why try?" because sometimes we really do put too much into the feeling when really we feel as if the feeling itself should just go away. Very nice poem.
