My first born

My first born

A Poem by EileenMarie

You were born to me first day of spring

A month early you made your appearance

Little features was all I could see

You were born to me first day of spring

Ten fingers, ten toes all made from me

Little tufts of hair and squinting blue eyes

You were born to me first day of spring

A month early you made your appearance

well you did very well
So sweet EileenMarie. Reminds me that I wrote a poem about 'my first-born Son'. Must post it one day. (I went on to have two more sons, but the thrill of one's first is precious and never forgotten. Lovely poem.
