How do we begin to start over?

When life has brought you down

When all you look for is cover

But you can't do much but frown

 

Look outside your window for inspiration

It's nature beautiful out there

Something simple giving you elation

When time can't erase your fear

 

Fear is a simple emotion

That causes so much pain

Almost like a taking a bad potion

Keeping us from feeling sane

 

How do we turn away our fear?

Changing our thoughts to positive

Trying to be sincere

If at all possible to even forgive

What a frowning poem, though meterful and carefully worded, EileenMarie. Seems you found your own answers by the end of it.

Hope helps, pulling back the curtains of a morning and seeing there's light, any type light, even the grey veiled in rain perhaps? Tis the hope of an adventure, even small, minute as can be, makes it different, special.

Truly, truly: yesterday i saw a shrew flash from an overgrown area of my left hand garden to snatch some of the scattering of bird seeds the sparrows had flicked off the tray! Even that was an adventure shared and even now, am smiling at it. That's what keeps a person sane and hopeful and inspired and still in love with life!
