The Old City

The Old City

A Poem by delocyle

How far are you to me my love ?

As far as the sky or a sigh ?

A stranger to my lovely nights

Which the sun kills or I.

I've been looking all over for you

And the time i thought i found

You were gone again without any clue

Tired body with the red nails

Were chasing you over islands

With the hope to see that face of yours

My veins got cold and again turned blue.

The distraction which you cause

Never leaves me , is after without a pause

No line i draw is stable anymore

Giant rocks got front over my toes.

The bridge between you and me

Was 1 and a half hour reaching to thee

To get the heavenly kiss from your mortal lips

I flew over the rails not seeing the irony.

No matter how much i kept going to thee

You were always in an other galaxy to me

No worries , arch's power is within me

To lock you up and swallow the key.

Burning eyes and ashed heart

Were the things all i got

I will find you my love

I assume you are around the way of south...

HOLY CRAP!

0.o

this is fantastic delocyle... My jaw literally dropped after the nineth line... I dont understand how you do this or how you can stay sooo indifferent to your talent about it. You are simply annoying me by saying "naaah, they arent good"... if you were next to me i would bite you for that! (tho i am not sure you would complain xD)

anyway... again... the lines, the rhymes, the emotion, the expression, your usual use of colors in the poem... this is one hell of a poem, and if you dont post more here you will pay for that big time young lady!
