super melodramatic .. but im trying to get at something iv experienced; my entire existence is composed of self obsession. my relations with others are fundamentally relations with myself,

I love my self obsessively
I love her devoutly
I love thee ignorantly

I hate my self obsessively
I hate her selfishly
I hate thee tragically, despairingly, pathetically, hopelessly, nihilistically.

To clarify (I hope) these are fundamental relationships I have; the self, the lover, and the spirituality. What 'Tripartite Narcissisms' aims at is the defining all of these relationships fundamentally as self obsession. The substance of my relationships is what I perceive them to be, which is dictated by my self image - because ultimately I am in desperate and exclusive love with the self.
