The Null Girl

The Null Girl

A Poem by Egao-onna

The hollow human lays upon a bed
The sun crosses the world
She still lays in the same position
The moon appaers
Blank eyes stare up at the ceiling
Still laying
Laying still
Moving sloppily
Jerking limbs stepping and swinging
No thought
A Fragile Mind
Succumbing to the whispers
Descending into nothing
A shell of a girl
Not speaking
Not thinking
As bells play
Passing time with a music peal
Empty eyes staring into the glass soul
Of the unfortunate
Void of being
Traipsing in thought
Walking in her mind
Visions
Hopes
Dreams
All mean nothing
All that matters
Nothing matters
What does matter
This dull and meaningless existence
Why is she here
The sun crosses the world
She still lays in the same position
The moon appears
Blank eyes stare up at the ceiling
Still laying
Laying still
She is still here
Missing her soul
She left it with those who matter
Soon, she'll come to collect it
A gaunt child
A porcelin doll
Rotating to a Music Box chime
Shakily sauntering
On wobbly limbs
Come to collect her Fragile Soul
With her Fragile Mind
