I Am

I Am

A Poem by Thom
"

A riddle in writ with few rarities

"

I am devout yet doubtful

I hear whisperings of a new world order

I see no such thing

I want time in my hands

I am devout yet doubtful

I pretend I see the future's faces

I feel the vibrations of swift movement

I touch the cold chrome of Metropolis

I worry if I will hold on

I am devout yet doubtful

I understand the path is narrow

I say I will not, could not fall off

I dream of lusty love

I hope for the children of  men

I am devout yet doubtful

About
I'm the cast of human effigy born of erroding redding rust and the blown dust as camouflage set in stain. I'm the cause and the effect and the water that reflects. I'm the sound of two alien worlds .. more..
