the umpteenth commemoration

bursting with light

profusing with words nigh

lost focus dim awareness

spare thee

at the end of my sight

incessant delay soggy mire

yet the mind caught fire

sought omens did my solitude

I couldn't see

beyond my plight

a light emanating confusion

I could swear it was not your complexion

then again when I got to know you

everything was bright about you

everything that transpired

bereft and blurry come expiry

I was smtten on cue

I hope it would never happen again

because there'll never be another you

the feeling is reserved for you

it's gone and no one can be you

you're here forever

because there'll never be another you

That's a pair of intriguing lines.
Given that I would know your state of mind...it's easy to comprehend the poem but a stranger would find it reserved to the core of your heart.
To write but not to express. That's the vibe I get , reading this.
