X and Y

Just something quick i wrote for people to get a feel for my writing style. The middle needs work. The title as well.

That something sacred in your animal,
Speaks to me with the light between our eyes.

A voice through the lonely distance
That says come take this space

Before the wild beyond carries us assunder

Like the gray mass fills the background
Of a raindrop hitting glass

Liked the brevity and the imagery very much. Make hay while the sun yet shines. You might want to do a spell check on the last word of the next to last verse.
