Stone Mills

Stone Mills

A Poem by Cyrano
"

What is in a soul?

"
Words come in and out like breaths.
My mind rests on the ocean of them,
Searching again for a name.

You told me there was no soul,
And i already knew that,

But something turns to stones within me,
And that something holds me yet.

My take on this is of an aging person who has millions of words but cannot remember them; your brain is turning to stone; you knew your soul was lost, but now it's your words, your mind. Very Nice write, I like it.

Very nice hun, its like a lost soul without a name or trapped in some darkness of something unknown. While the mind is actually elsewhere very peacefully. Loved it good work hun 🙂
