Impressionable Young MenA Poem by L'Enfant Terrible
Look it through
Is big, is strong, is you Mirror that reflects Because so we are. Man, manhood, manliness. Fighting in the streets (For what's wrong, what's right) Drinking at the pubs (Because we can, we can) Flirting with the birds (Just cause they got me blind) Dreaming right and high. This is me, this is us What we are, so proud. Youth is the gift with which nature blessed me. Innocent no yet naive. Not needed yet wanted. Neither perfect yet adored. The world spins around us. Youth, youth. We're the It thing. Even though at some point bruises won't go, Well sir no one won't deny I lived fast and long. Over mother, my team and brothers b*****d you won't pass. First piss of the month. I'm invincible Another shadow on the streets. like any other dropout humankind long ago created. Generations will pass. Time flies Roles move forth and back Yet in the inside essence remains the same: I'm young, I'm beautiful and We are men. Young ones. Impressionable young men. ...but honest What is it? © 2011 L'Enfant TerribleReviews
