A hand simply out of reachA Poem by Hayden McCainWell my main rule in writing poetry is a poem is like an arrow it has to have a sharp clear point in order to be effective . And the point or lesson is rather simple constantly murming
We were like the tide
drifting away with our shallow streams of dreams . Never really knowing which way the wind was blowing . But as the days dimmed to dawn we wake up the next morning and they’re gone . Leaving us alone with one thing to do move on . © 2022 Hayden McCainAuthor's Note
