A ballerina
blissfully bended
in blue
reaches out
into the
overbearing
embrace of
empty space .
Hopelessly
hankering for
the fondness
of a familiar face
to set all her
life’s pieces
back into
place .
a ballerina in more ways than one...she has a life that is balancing precariously and is needing a partner to
put her back together...
I see what Fabian was saying about "bended"----that makes sense, but I also see the bending towards the blue...as ballerinas do so much of that bending thing in their dance.
I like this allegory.

I would that the word "bended" were "blended" since it seems more appropriate and perhaps that was your intention. The alliteration is strong in this and again, your descriptive qualities are laudable. I enjoyed the read.
