Colors of our love

In Gods name I pray , Not for you . 

But,

The freedom to allow us to purge the pain of loss,

without the need to take the colors of our love,

And paint Demons above our brows.

blending, mudding the lovely vivd colors

We created

To a black veil , To hide the entrance 

To the depths of your soul.

Your poem stirs my thoughts, as I read it... I wonder if love can ever be Perfect...The answer is "no"...Love is complicated. So I see your perspective in this, but, I am optimistic about love...At some point there will be complications, and that "black veil" will overtake the depths of the soul...if you let it...or... you can take the black veil and turn it into the veil of truth (why hide from the darkest color of all)... it can enrich the relationship to the fullest...growing together as you nurture the imperfections. Very thought provoking... Nice write!

Perfect imagery! Love can be a vibriant color, when all is going well, but when things go wrong love can turn ugly as the color black! Hopefully if love is true on both parts it can be reverse back to a beautiful color of love! excellent poem
