Follow who you will.A Story by Rev Edward McClellandThe lost teachings of Jesus.I refer to my personal faith as being an Ebionite, as not to be confused with a follower of Paul of Tarsus. Since James led the Ebionites after Yeshua's(Jesus) crucifixion that seems to me to be the true Christian religion. Saint James, also called James, The Lord's Brother, (died ad 62, Jerusalem)was the leader of the Jerusalem followers of Yeshua, who with Saint's Peter and John the Evangelist were pillars of the church. Scholars believe Jesus' followers in Jerusalem referred to themselves as the Nazarenes, or followers of Jesus of Nazareth. Some scholars believe the Ebionites were an early offshoot of the Nazarenes. About twenty years after the resurrection along came Paul of Tarsus with his new religion and he is referred to as a Christian, though his teachings resemble very little of what Yeshua or his brother and other followers taught and he often quarreled with the original followers. Nowhere does Yeshua mention, or even hint, that He would give ‘new’ revelations to someone after His Ascension. One has to question why Jesus would spend 3 ½ years- in the flesh- teaching the chosen apostles that …”‘till heaven and earth pass, not one jot or tittle will pass from the law.” Matthew 5:18; and then, after His resurrection, give new revelations to a Pharisee (Saul/Paul) that make the Law void by His resurrection. Furthermore, ask yourself why would Jesus bypass the apostles with this ‘new’ revelation; choosing instead to reveal it to a Pharisee, the sect He called ‘vipers’, Matthew 12:34, and sons of the devil, John 8:44? Paul admitted to Timothy he was kicked out of all seven Aisan church's in 2nd Timothy 1:15 Acts 11-13 In Antioch the disciples were first called Christians. Antioch is in Assyria, where the Antichrist /anti Messiah was prophesied to come from. Rev Edward McClelland 03-03-2023
