Predator Vs. Prey

Predator Vs. Prey

A Poem by Jack Kennedy
"

Written in the same style as 'Together At Last'

"
Prey
Running
Tripping
Falling
Crawling
Staggering

Predator
Racing
Chasing
Embracing
Tasting
Preying

Result
The Predator wins
The prey's afterlife begins
And the cycle starts all over again

                                                               Bonus Poem:
                                                          "Florette Style Poem"
                                                   Rain falls; the thunder brews
                                                    The storm we must pursue

Okay I for one thinks the bonus is a hidden gem and outshines the main attraction but that's my opinion! The main attraction was written a while ago but I don't too much care for it but you might! Also the bonus was originally on 'Diverse' but it got cut from the final product! There are five or seven others that were cut but will be included as bonuses in future works!

Well hope you all enjoy!! Take Care

Very, very true. In fact, when I finished this poem, I made me think of humans hunting each other other then animals. Weird, huh? This is a very well-written poem. It's short, but I LOVE how it give my heart a little surge of adrenaline. Great work my friend!

You're welcome!
Blunt, short, and powerful. Very enjoyable to read.
The first two stanzas were especially good.

Thank you for the review good friend!
Short yet powerfully blunt. I really enjoyed it. I could feel myself as the prey in the first verse, the predator in the second, and a shift in the third. Great job! :)

Short and too the point, and the choice of words does match the predator and the prey very well. One word jarred me a little, "Result" in the last stanza, I almost think it could be dropped, and this poem would be even better.
The little short bonus is a nice touch.

I admire the way you say so much in so few words. Poetry doesn't have to be long to have meaning. Great writing here my friend. I enjoyed both poems.
