Silence

Silence

A Poem by Tara
"

What good has it done you?

"
This is your fault
Not mine
Ever since what happened
Instead of talking it over
You decided to shut it out
And not speak about it
You would stare
But not smile
You would whisper to others
But not to me
To anyone
But me!

Don't worry
I'm not mad
Not anymore
I'll get
-Even-
I glance at you
You don't react
Again
You just stare
Even now
When you're tied to a chair
With blood
Dripping from your face

Still silent?
Another slash might
Loosen your tongue

No?
Well
If you have nothing to say
About that event
What's the point in keeping you alive?
Sour?
I'm not sour about what happened
Just
Offended
That's all
But oh well
If you think there's nothing to say about it
I guess

Well I guess this is goodbye
Silence
What good has it done you?
