Muse

Muse

A Poem by Eden Reabelle
"

All about inspiration. Everything inspires me.

"
With voices in
my head,
I play orchestras to
silence them.

The violins,
the opera,
oh what great
music i play.

My veins can
hear it too,
for i am nothing
without undesirable
substances.

I enhance my
ability to paint
a vision.
I enhance my
ability to speak.

I ask if it is
peculiar to envy
a free dove,
or is it insanity?

I gaze upon the
empty morning sky,
and hope for
a fulfilled future.

The rainfall is
a sign of sadness,
the thunder a
sign of anger,
the sunshine a
sign of lonesomeness.
For i am nothing
without music.

I conquer the
empty canvas,
i banish the
plainness in life.
For i am nothing
without my music.

I also envy the wind,
for it is stronger than
anyone you can
physically see.

I'm afraid of
tomorrow,
I paint the detail
in today.
For i am nothing
without music.

Music, creativity, art, and strength all rolled into one with an admitted human flaw. It comes together so beautifully. Very nice.

It is not peculiar to envy a free dove, nor is it insanity. A great poem about ones muse.
