inside out

beauty from the inside out

there are so many things that we want to be.

beauty and popularity

 

but inside there is darkness.

there is pain and confution.

there is the thought of uglyness.

 

where can the healing come from?

how can peace be anywhere?

 

it is in the water and light

the one person who loves and lives for all.

the one known as Jesus.

 

the spirit is like water

it is like a refreshing drink

that stays there in all of your needs.

 

finding in your life

things from the past are not imprtant anymore

stay with the one that truely loves you forever.

I appreciate this poem and find it to be true. My wife passed away in December, 2007 and it has been the Love of Christ and His wonderful people that have sustained me and brought me to a place of healing. Grief of someone close is the hardest thing in the world to bear. I went to a group called greifshare.org they meet all over the country. Was a lot of help. Also, writing and corresponding with some of the wonderful people on writerscafe.org has also been a big part of my healing.Any way good write and good insight, thank you.
