Teenager

I am a teenager,
Too old to be a child, too young to be an adult
I make stupid decisions that aren't entirely my fault
With so many emotions that I can't comprehend
Sometimes I love life other times I wish it would end
The world scares me and makes me never want to leave home
Though sometimes my parents drive me crazy so I'm already gone
Searching the world and web trying to find me
This world can get overwhelming when you're a teen
But you get some courage and stand tall
Because in this world there is a place for all
And though sometimes it's hard to find
Just keep your head up and you'll be fine

There are two possible type of poet: those who Write with their heart and those Who Write with their Brain. The firsts are emotional, irrational and naive, the seconds mindful, precise and acute. It is difficult to find someone Who can use both, heart and brain, and find a good mediation between emotions and rationality. I believe you are one of those talented souls, capable of that: your poem is vivid and somewhat genuinely 'brutal'. You express all the conflicts of the most intense age of our lifes and you do in a way that anyone may relate with,thanks to clear and rational language.
Remarkable, really.

I belong to the first type of writers, and of course I suggest you to go wilder and Less rational with your verses ;)
