he shows up...again

 

Chapter 4. Little green eyed shocks.

 

Aj and I were standing out in karlee's yard, having thought of an awesome plan with only one flaw. To do it we'd have to shut off the lights. "Karlee won't mind...too much." Aj said shrugging her shoulders.

"She will if she's in the house, Aj someone could get hurt!" I said trying to keep my voice down; I didn't want a fight, not now anyways. You see the thing with AJ is, she doesn't know when it's going too far, she likes to do stuff her way and it makes it hard to work with her sometimes, including now.

"Well you don't have to it if you don't want..." she said quietly obviously trying to avoid a fight too.

"Okay then I'm going to go inside, good luck on the prank." She smiled as I turned around to go into the house.

 

I had to walk through the kitchen to get to the living room meaning I had to walk past a table, an island a trash can, and Karlee's cat just to go watch people play the wii. As I made my way around the obstacle course I silently prayed that Aj waited to turn the lights off until I was in the living room. My prayers were answered as I walked into the huge living room.

 

It had three couches that surrounded the outer part of the room, but they weren't entirely up against the walls. That gave just enough room for the Big (And I mean BIG!) screen Plasma TV. The first time I saw it I know I almost passed out but that was last year when we had a "movie" themed sleep over. I laughed at the memory causing Karlee, who had been leaning up against the couch watching the other three fight over the remotes, to turn around and face me. "Hi." I said trying not to make it obvious I wasn’t pranking anyone.

"Hi..."She said sounding suspicious."You're not pranking are you?" She quirked an eye brow.

"No” I sighed. "But aj is so be prepared for the lights to suddenly go out" Karlee sighed.

"Gosh, I'll go get the flash lights...." She walked off into the kitchen where I knew that if she went she might die if the lights went out. I almost fallowed her but decided against it. I turned around to face the others.

"Hey!" I shouted over the fighting. Amanda looked at me and smiled.

"What?!?!?" She shouted even louder.

"Save your game if you don't want to start all over..." I said in my normal voice now. The three looked at me weirdly.

"Why?" Steph asked.

"Cause, Aj is planning a prank but...lets just say it's going to get very dark, very fast..."

Jewls understood and quickly saved her game. as she did I turned towards the left wall, it happened to be the only wall not blocked by stuff or cut in half, but that could be because it was a mirror and hardly a wall at all. Yes, you heard me right; this wall was covered with one huge mirror. No one knew why it was like that but it was, and frankly it was kind of cool.

 

A few seconds later Karlee came out of the kitchen. “I’ve got the flash lights. There is enough for everyone to have one.” She said as she handed us each a flash light. That’s when he came down the stairs. “Karlee!” He called through the house “It looks like a storm is coming this way, you might want to bring your stuff in side.” I was glad to know I wasn’t the only person giving him an odd look as he walked into the living room. Jewls was the first to speak.

“Uh Karlee, why didn’t you tell us he was going to be here?” Karlee shrugged.

“I forgot.” Jack gasped.

“You forgot about your own brother?” He acted angree.

“Tequnically, you aren’t, you are the love child of that cheating jerk who fathers you and me. We have different mothers, speaking of which, where is mine?” Jack shrugged.

“meeting confence, in queen creak, she won’t be back for a few days…” The room grew into an eiry quiet so I decided to break it.

“Wow, Aj is taking her time on the whole lights thing.” Amanda nodded as she looked out the window.

“Hey guys maybe we should bring our stuff inside…” Karlee and I looked too.

“Yeah come on.” Karlee said as she started toward the kitchen. Silently we fallowed.
