Lost in a memory

Lost in a memory

A Poem by Eddywards
"

This is a poem for my friend Amonai who I've known forever and who left me yesterday morning.

"

Lost in a memory
Lost in your greenish brown eyes
in your short dark hair
and your Tongan build
Lost in the old times
in the laughs
the tears
the jokes
the games
the fights
the fears
Lost
it's what I am
our final good bye
in where I'm lost at
I said
what I wanted
what I needed
to say
we hugged
but it's gone
you're gone
so now I stand here
lost in a Memory
lost in what used to be
what it should be
what it could be
and what I wish
that it would be
something
more
than
a
memory
