Keys In The Forest Of HateA Poem by Diasha
I gave you a part of me to hold close
For when you are far off across the seas Don't forget this tired soul She reaches out towards you I gave you a picture of the memory For when the bonds of our hearts grow weak And the days fade with shattered dreams we shared Her hearts yearns for you One day She found herself lost in a forest of Hate But her prince, her knight Never came to save her Shot from your arrow Her Guardian Angel Lays dead on the floor Now one will ever save her What will you do with the delicate heart she gave you What will you do with the memory The bond? Do you still believe in the Us As she barely holds to life Is She Lost Forgotten? The River of broken dreams washes over her memories The Mist of fears covers her body The Blood of the innocent are the only remains left Hope It shines then dims Hope The only thing she held on to Hope The last thing she sacrificed because of you As the curious wonder through the forest of Hate They stubble upon an old key at the end of a gate Covered with blood Surrounded by the broken glass of the jar That once held Hope Never again will the Keys of her Heart Be placed with in the jar as fragile In the forest of Hate © 2013 Diasha |
