A deity to call my own.

A deity to call my own.

A Poem by Ed Rector

Vibrancy your hue has dimmed.
Bring back the light
Which passion set a flame.
Deities, grant me a vixen
To praise as one of you.
Let the sun rise with me alone
And by days end bring a vixen home.
Show me a name i can call,
A body in which to entwine,
A mind so mad i'd be truly sad
To see her life hood go.
But even in the afterlife
I could be with my love.
For when death deals its hand
Our love shall become immortal.
Forever enclosed to be the romance
that brings the world to be a bit brighter.

... wow ... what a beautiful opening line and closing line ... and how enchanting these simple and profound thoughts ... a very magical and surreal verse ...

But even in the afterlife
I could be with my love.
For when death deals its hand
Our love shall become immortal.
Forever enclosed to be the romance
that brings the world to be a bit brighter.

... this comes from the depths of purity and sensitivity ... exquisite poetry ... a rare treat for the soul ... awesome verse ...
