in the lack of blood.

in the lack of blood.

A Poem by Ed Rector

Serpents hold me by their grasp,
Entangled by the lack luster
Of dullness by their bite.
Bring back the tiger's eye
that shoots a shock into my veins.
Tranquility has overrun its course.
I need a new fix to entice.
Like the apple from The Garden of Eden.
One last huzzah before i reside.

deep piece...I truly love the opening line. I think we all have our own serpents in life. Always looking for the next fix...whatever that may be....nice job ;)
