Delectable

Delectable

A Poem by Ed Rector

Your love has swollen my heart
And stolen all chance of solitude.
For you have impeded into my soul
And caused the chaos to cease.
Your as delectable as chocolate
That melts as slow as an iceberg.
Your touch is that of a slight breeze
That elegantly finds its way around me.
So uncanny, so jubilant your ways are,
That I could live without the sun
If it meant I could bask in your radiance
For you aura glows a great glow
That warms me to my swollen heart.
