Fleeting Time

Fleeting Time

A Poem by Ed Rector
"

Routine Lapse Pt. IX of X

"

Thirty years go by and you still wonder why?
And oh, what have I become?
oh, what have I ever truly done?
Was life worth living this long,
With my youth so far gone?
In and out of those time-forgetting bars.
How much time have I wasted thus far?
And how much more time is left for me
Until I am able to finally be set free?

Your desperate cry for happiness is expressed perfectly.

The image and the title are very well chosen.

Wonderful job - *****Poem.
