The Illustrious TruthA Poem by Ed Rectorpolitical poetry
A misinformed American is what we all are
Misinformed by religious belief systems A carpenter born from a virgin Sounds like a political or sexual cover up A bush on fire with the voice of God I have experienced that, Moses is a fraud Egyptians Greeks and old roman beliefs Started with political upset in the middle east A fear of plague spread throughout the lands Fearing the mythical Gods will come Which put the peasants in a tight situation To obey the higher rankings or its damnation A misinformed American is what we all are Beauty is a completely fake woman Lying to society with makeup covered faces A Hollywood style of breast augmentation Is the way to be perfect with your imperfections thats the way of this Americanized nation A misinformed American is what we all are Relying on a television to produce the right information A news break at night with a horrible situation Helping Americans build on there own frustration The media is enslaved to obey what its been told A misinformed American is what we all are Mayors, congressmen senators and their familys With storys out there known as the truth So wound up in the artificial state of affairs That we have all forgotten the truth of the matter Which is that they are raping society blindly Leaders of the day are shadows of the night corrupted A misinformed American is what we all are Dont take my promising word for it Expect me to be a guide of misinformation Advance your own simplistic knowledge Through traveling with foolish strangers Misinform another to start a mythic tale Babble chatter shout whisper or whistle a lie That you misinformed as the illustrious truth © 2008 Ed Rector |
