Rejuvenation

Rejuvenation

A Poem by Ed Rector

On my entrance I expected what I saw,
Except for one exception; the women.
Hearts pound on anticipation, mine ignited.
upon our greeting her eyes entranced mine
like an eclipse, dont blink I thought,
no telling when these eyes will orbit again.
Much sooner did her eyes orbit back to mine
than does an eclipse align. Rejuvenation.
Aw to feel young lust again, to not feel dead.
What wonders this women has brought me.
Which love goddess granted me the gift
To return to those eyes when I feel fit?
